How wild is it that it’s already the third month of the year? We’re feeling a bit of whiplash because it was just yesterday we were talking about new years plans. Am I the only one who keeps dating things as 2022 and wondering where a year went?
To keep us feeling grounded, we’re making March all about rooting deeply into our personalities. From emotions, to self-sabotage, and experiencing life with all the senses, where taking it back to basics in these next four newsletters.
In other news, JoClub is growing and thriving! We officially hit 350 global members and started hosting onboarding calls for new JoClubbers, and I’m rolling out the first University partnership with my alma mater to bring journaling to stressed-out college students! Little Jo whose heart would beat a little faster at the smell of a paper store is elated — we’re growing a movement that’s really changing people's lives. A movement that’s changing our lives. We hope you feel our joy through these free newsletters. JoClub’s goal is to build products and services that we wish existed for the in-betweeners, the global souls, and the introverts with a lot to say.
Also, a really exciting announcement: I’m hosting the first ever “language journaling” session where we’ll use our different languages to unlock emotions and memories.

We’re taking our languages to the next level this year, and starting things off with a bang! Bring your journals, your vocab lists and verb conjugations, and get ready to connect to language learners around the world.
We’ll be using languages as a tool to unlock different perspectives and emotions. Intermediate to advanced skills recommended in your particular language. All languages welcome.
Meet other likeminded people around the globe, and dust off your language learning skills. Can’t wait to see you there!
This session will be hosted by Jo Franco, JoClub’s founder and polyglot!

Written on June 17th, feeling like Summer is finally here in Belgium so I treated myself to writing at a cafe with a nitro cold brew, caffeine coursing through my veins, vibing like I'm a travel journalist in the wild. Hi Global Minds Since my new show, Big Little Italy, came out on National Geographic, I've gotten tons of questions about how this happened. How did I go from YouTube to Netflix, to Nat Geo? *I'm still shocked that it happened, AHHH!* But first, a flashback. It's 2020. I'm in a...
Back in my office in Antwerp, Belgium with frigid fingers because Spring is struggling to make a full entrance. But I'm back, baby. Hi Global Minds There's something uncomfortably poetic about returning home to stillness after so much movement. The silence is deafening. My passport is worn, my voice is hoarse from speaking so much in five languages, and my heart is full from connections that spanned continents. But all of this commotion came at a cost: I've been noticeably absent online. And...
