When was the last time you felt connected?

Published 8 months ago • 1 min read

🎶 Do you remember…. The 21st night of September…?🎶 Well if you don’t you will now, cause we’re going to journal about it.

We are officially entering into our Cozy & Connected chapter of the year. Woo can’t wait to break out the blankies and write my heart out :).

Do you feel like a different person than when the year began? Because I’m like… damn, who was that naive young lady who thought she could launch 293 projects in 6 months?! My new theme for the rest of 2023 is “slow and steady wins the sanity.”

And so, this month it’s time to get snuggly with paper, pen, and your favorite people. We’re talking all things Connections, because the year is not complete without thinking about everyone in our lives that makes every day better, easier, and more purposeful.

The next five newsletters will be all about the links in our lives that need a little more love. This includes the connection you have with lil ol’ you too! BTW: When was the last time you took yourself out on a really nice date or adventure? Break out those agendas, and schedule in “me time” in honor of your friends here at JoClub.

Ready to dig in? We’ll send you four newsletters this month including prompts, playlists, and poppin’ content to keep you inspired fo’ free! Happy connecting!

Playlist of the Month

Check out this month’s playlist! We curated it as the perfect soundtrack for connections & reflections. Enjoy!

  1. When was the last time you treated yourself to something great?
  2. What habits or activities bring you back into yourself? Why?
  3. Where do you feel more rooted?
  4. What do you need to connect more with?
  5. Describe a time you laughed uncontrollably, who was it with?

P.S. Remember to add us to your ‘Safe Sender’ list or drag us to your ‘Primary’ inbox so you don’t miss out on any JoClub news.

Hello hello lovely people! This month we’re sharing the story of one of our most creative members who light up the room every time she joins a session. Kim has been with us for a while and we’re so happy to hear (and share) the story of how she joined JoClub!! The JoClub Team Last summer I went to Staples and bought this cheap soft-cover grid notebook. I was in the midst of the worst bout of burnout I had in a while and I had a mighty need to rant about it on paper. This cycle happens almost...

Hi there, journaler Now that we’re closer to the last quarter of the year (what!?) it’s important to take a step back and plan out the next three months. As you probably could have guessed, journaling is our favorite tool to reflect, assess, and plan. However, to make the most out of it, it’s important to understand what you want from journaling. What do you expect to get from this practice? What is your intention? We asked you about intention-setting on Wednesday and you shared a lot of cool...

Hi there! JoClub is nothing without our wonderful members, so we thought it would be time to share some more of their stories with you. We really hope you enjoy Leanne’s story as much as we did. We swear we didn’t bribe her to say all of these beautiful things! Thank you for being here ❤️ The JoClub Team Leanne's Story Hola, I am Leanne! You can call me Bella, short for Lady Laleebella, my self-proclaimed title as the Black Queen of Reggae. The moniker comes from the East African city of...
